About the author

Slobodan Radojev Mitric (1948) is a former top Yugoslav Counter Intelligence agent and since 1993 World Director of Reserve Police International (RPI). A Karate master 10^th Dan and criminologist with an honorary degree in law, he is also a poet, playwright and artist.

His last autobiographical true crime and love story The Golden Tip – The Entanglement of the Upper and Underworld and the Murder of Gerrit Jan Heijn was published in 2009 by the Dutch Willehalm Institute Press Foundation.

The author lives and works in exile from his native land Serbia since 1973 in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. He was married to the Dutch artist Iris de Vries, who was murdered in a hospital in 2006.
