Update: This press release was sent out and/or emailed on April 26 to Editors-in-Chief of various international newspapers, without it seems, until this time of writing (June 12, 2005), any response whatsoever.

Amsterdam, April 26, 2005 - As announced in the press release of March 1 of Operation Twins (vol. 1) was presented on March 4 in the Dutch national press center Nieuwspoort in The Hague. This press conference was held as an initial public attempt to somehow undo the character assassination of the writer Slobodan Mitric at the hands of the Dutch Government (Ministry of Justice etc.) and their willing servants by means of show trials and disinformation. This attempt, however, failed – only the quixotic editor of the Amsterdam Weekly “The Daily Invisible” showed up, whose promised account of this event has so far remained up in the air. On top of that, requests to the two wholesale book distributors in The Netherlands, the firms Van Ditmar in Amsterdam and Nillson and Lamb in Weesp, to distribute Operation Twins and to the Dutch Library Service to have it reviewed were rejected.

I therefore did not have the opportunity on march 4 of presenting any reporters or journalists with a copy of this book – a unique combination of spy thriller and ego-document that was published in an effort to finally correct this false public image of Dr. Mitric in The Netherlands and abroad. For it is evident that without this rehabilitation the controversial and prophetic statements by the author in the appendices regarding e.g. 9/11 and the role of former Dutch Prime Minister and UN High Commissioner for Refugees Dr. R. Lubbers in the international plutonium scandal in the eighties of the past century will remain totally incredible.

This is also true regarding the information that Dr. Mitric gave me on March 3, after he was advised by his lawyer not to attend the press conference, because as an undesirable alien in this country without a valid ID he would run the risk of being arrested before the press conference. This information, which he himself wanted to give during the conference, concerns part II of his spy trilogy Operation Twins: the general, if not yet specific, location of the weapons of mass destruction of Saddam Hussein (see press release dated March 4).

This is all the more true with respect to possible forthcoming information concerning future (terrorist) attacks, because without first establishing his credibility as World Director of Reserve Police-International, it will not be possible to utilize his extensive knowledge and experience to prevent such disasters. I direct your attention to the dire fact that Dr. Mitric already tried in vain to prevent the 9/11 disaster and its prelude in 1993 (see Operation Twins, appendix 8, p. 169) and I therefore appeal to you to do your share in this public rehabilitation effort by reviewing this book so that its subject receives the attention it deserves.

More information on the author, his book and the publisher can be found on www.willehalm.nl. This includes the title pages of Mitric’s journal “The Serbian Army” from the years 1991-1993 showing photo collages of strategic buildings in American and European cities such as New York, Washington, The Hague and Frankfurt under attack by planes crashing down from above and about to be blown up by detonating charges planted inside the construction beams of the buildings. This is an astonishingly accurate prophetic view of the 9/11 events, a view that has afterwards been shown to be correct by an increasing number of critical books and web sites debunking the official version of 9/11 by the US government, the 9/11 commission and its various propagandists, namely that none other than Osama Bin Laden was the mastermind behind 9/11. This official view however is disproved by e.g. the site www.911inplanesite.com, which shows by means of apparently unadulterated slow-motion video images of 9/11 that it was not a commercial airliner, but actually a military airplane armed with a missile that both hit the second Twin Tower. The information from this site and similar far reaching implications from other independent, non-governmental sources have so far been withheld from exposure and close scrutiny in the main stream media.

In view of this evident wholesale curtailment or suppression of free speech in the mass media, the chances that the voice of Slobodan Mitric crying out in the wilderness and my urgent appeal will be heard will indeed be rather slim. Yet is it not democracy and free speech that what we are fighting for?
